Altenew: A Year In Review Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello everyone! Today I’m taking part in the A Year in Review Blog Hop by Altenew and I’m sharing some of my favorite Altenew creations from 2018!

Here’s a little collage of my top 4 creations but there are so many projects I created that I’d like to share a few more.

The October release was one of my most favorite ever! Maybe it was the fact that I designed some of the products or I just enjoyed creating these cards so much.

I think that this year I really got my cardmaking mojo going. I’ve explored different techniques and played around with different ideas. I especially loved coloring with the Altenew Artist Markers.

As well as their brand new Watercolor Brush Markers and Watercolor Pan Set.

I also loved exploring new ideas like cards with a lot of mixed media accents. For example I created a few fun cards using stencils and ink sprays from the November release.

I really like those layouts you did with the florals and the stenciled projects. It inspires me to think that I really should try to do more with some of those great texture and glimmer products out there. As for a favourite project of my own - I have a love of making mini note cards and ended up spending a very satisfying day using scrap to make these little notecards this year and for something that came from working on the fly to use of scraps, I ended up quite liking them! http://onyxnox.blogspot.com/2018/10/branch-of-blossoms-card-and-tag-mania.html

So many beautiful projects!! It's always a pleasure to see what you've created! My favorite creation of the year is the wedding card I made for my youngest sister. Oh, Zinia! I love how you created your cards but the inspiration you gave me on your scrapbook page with the Floral Art Stamp Set...oh, that page is so gorgeous! Loved your video on that creation, too. I promptly added that set to my stash!

Very, very beautiful. flowers. This hop is making me smile. So much color and joy! My favorite card was a sympathy card. It was modeled after I card I saw on the Altenew site. Love all your projects. They are really gorgeous. My favourite card this year is also made using Altenew supplies. I made it as part of homework for the Beautiful Details class by Marika Rahtu. I really struggled to get this card together, making lots of trial pieces. But I love the end result. Hope you will like it too. Your cards and scrapbook layouts were fabulous this year and they provided so much inspiration. Scrapbooking is my first love so I enjoyed seeing how you used Altenew products on your pages. FABULOUS favourites! LOVE your cards and layouts, LOVE your beautiful flowers and wonderful designs! Thank You for sharing and INSPIRING :) PS - I can't choose just one favourite project from this year, I have tried a variety of CAS designs, others were technique heavy, lots of fancy folds and interactive cards, all are special to me ... all the more reason for me to be in awe of your ability to choose the ones you have shared today!

So many beautiful cards! Thanks for the inspiration! Fave creation I made this year was a very simple but elegant Christmas card! It had a die cut ornament with a silver layer around it to frame it.
