Hello everyone! Today I’m taking part in the A Year in Review Blog Hop by Altenew and I’m sharing some of my favorite Altenew creations from 2018!
Here’s a little collage of my top 4 creations but there are so many projects I created that I’d like to share a few more.
The October release was one of my most favorite ever! Maybe it was the fact that I designed some of the products or I just enjoyed creating these cards so much.
I think that this year I really got my cardmaking mojo going. I’ve explored different techniques and played around with different ideas. I especially loved coloring with the Altenew Artist Markers.
As well as their brand new Watercolor Brush Markers and Watercolor Pan Set.
I also loved exploring new ideas like cards with a lot of mixed media accents. For example I created a few fun cards using stencils and ink sprays from the November release.

Lots of pretty and great ideas, too.
I really like those layouts you did with the florals and the stenciled projects. It inspires me to think that I really should try to do more with some of those great texture and glimmer products out there. As for a favourite project of my own – I have a love of making mini note cards and ended up spending a very satisfying day using scrap to make these little notecards this year and for something that came from working on the fly to use of scraps, I ended up quite liking them!

My favorite creation of the year is the wedding card I made for my youngest sister. Her wedding was beach themed and the card colors matched her invitation and decor colors. I was happy with how it turned out 🙂

Very, very beautiful. flowers. This hop is making me smile. So much color and joy! My favorite card was a sympathy card. It was modeled after I card I saw on the Altenew site. Love all your projects. They are really gorgeous. My favourite card this year is also made using Altenew supplies. I made it as part of homework for the Beautiful Details class by Marika Rahtu. I really struggled to get this card together, making lots of trial pieces. But I love the end result. Hope you will like it too. Wonderful creations! My favorite creation was a princess card for my granddaughter.

Fave creation I made this year was a very simple but elegant Christmas card! It had a die cut ornament with a silver layer around it to frame it.
