Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends! Today we are celebrating the release of the Altenew Watercolor Brush Markers! This is probably the most exciting Altenew product ever released (at least according to my humble opinion).

These markers are absolutely amazing cause the color selection is gorgeous, the ink is is vibrant and water-reactive and best of all, they have the most fantastic fine brush nib!  There are similar products out there but the Altenew markers are my favorite because of their nibs. You can color any fine detail stamp sets or use them to line art work![/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Make sure to read all the way through for all the giveaway details and of course visit the Altenew Card Blog and the Altenew Scrapbook Blog.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”8141″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]So for today’s blog hop, I created a card using the markers. First I colored the background of my cardbase using a mix of Warm Sunshine, Autumn Blaze, Limeade and Midnight Violet.

I scribbled the markers on my Altenew Watercolor Palette to mix a more neutral shade and then I applied my custom color using a waterbrush.

I let that aside to dry and then I stamped the large floral image from the Inked Flora stamp set in Permanent Black Crisp Dye Ink. I also stamped a couple of leaf images. I went for a very loose coloring style for both the flower and the leaves.

Oh my gosh. Such big beautiful blooms! I would totally use the brushes to color florals... especially my larger Altenew floral stamp sets.

What a beautiful card! This set of watercolor brush markers is right up my alley, and I can't wait to get my hands on them. The colors are luscious and I would love to use them on ALL of my Altenew floral stamped images. It's the perfect set for me. I love bright colors. And with this set I've seen them muted and bright so it makes I very versatile.

I have been looking for watercolor markers and these are actually ones that I would see myself using. I love making cards and I like how they can go from super dark, deep colors to soft. I absolutely love the flowers on your card!

I don't own watercolour brush markers as I am intimidated by watercolouring, although it is my very favourite medium in the art world. If I had these brushes, I'd try to paint images in a very loose way. I love the almost impressionistic look that lets you see what you are supposed to but leaves the backgrounds or other elements to your imagination. The colours you've used in your card are gorgeous!

Gorgeous, bold card! I would definitely use these watercolor brushes to make floral cards. I love how they can go from vibrant to soft so easily, and the set is a ready made palette of colors that go together.

I loved the coloring of the flowers on your card with the new watercolor brushes from Altenew! I would love to get a set of those markers, since I use flowers a lot on my cards and the colors in this brush set are BEAUTIFUL, AMAZING, and VIBRANT!!!! It would really suit my style.
