Hello crafty friends! Today we are celebrating a brand new release of gorgeous stamps and dies by Altenew. I actually designed two of the stamp sets that are part of the release, Blooming Branches and Playful Blooms.
I’m super excited about these stamp sets as well as all the amazing products that come in this release.
Make sure to read all the way through for all the giveaway details and of course visit the Altenew Card Blog and the Altenew Scrapbook Blog.
So for this blog hop, I created a few cards based on the same idea. I used the beautiful Dainty Swiss Dots Stamp Set on my background, decorated the center of my card with a floral cluster and added my sentiment towards the lower half of the card. Even though I created all my cards from the same starting point I played around with other elements to make each one of them look unique and exciting.
For this card I used the Layered Floral Elements Die Set and colored the die cut images using my favorite Altenew Artist Markers. I added a couple of Nuvo drops at the centers of my flowers and finished my card with a sentiment from the Playful Blooms set.
For my next card I used the Always There Stamp Set. To make my floral cluster more interesting, I some fully stamped colorful images with a few pieces of plain black outline images. I added a bit of Nuvo glaze in my central flower to make it stand out even more and finished my card with an orange sentiment strip.
Of course I had to use my own designs to create a couple of cards as well. So I made a lovely pink card using my Playful Blooms Stamp set. I just stamped a bunch of flowers without the stems in various shades of pinks and put them together into a beautiful central piece. The sentiment I used on this card is also from the Playful Blooms stamp set.
Last but certainly not least, I created a card using my Blooming Branches Stamp Set. What I love the most about this set is that you can create multiple variations of the same image. You can use the dies on their own without stamping, You can stamp both images and die cut around them with the coordinating dies and you can stamp only the stem but cut it out with the bigger die so that the white space will look like a fluffy flower.
To finish this card I added a little piece of twine to add an overall rustic look.
