Altenew December 2018 Markers/Embellishments Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends! Altenew has once again some beautiful brand new products that will blow your mind. You probably already know but I’m madly in love with Altenew Artist Markers and I’ve been anxiously waiting for more colors to come out. They are finally here!

Make sure to read all the way through for all the giveaway details and of course visit the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog.

However this release includes more than just a few new colors of Artist Markers.  For those of you that are on a low budget and can’t invest in the whole color range, there’s a new Primary colors set that can get you started with Alcohol markers. In fact that’s the product I focused on for my project today. There’s also a colorless blender to assist you with fun coloring techniques.

But wait, there’s more. In addition to the new coloring products there are also some beautiful embellishments! Wood veneer pieces, lovely butterflies, and my personal favorite, Enamel Dots in the gorgeous Altenew color range!

For my card today, I wanted to create something fun and playful so I grabbed the Building Blocks die set and colored each piece with a different color from the Primary Essentials Artist Marker Set. To add more character to my colorful blocks, I added a whimsical doodly pattern on each of the pieces using a darker shade of color.

Giveaways

Now if all that looks very exciting and you want to get your hands on some of these amazing products, I have a $30 gift certificate to give away to one lucky winner. All you have to do is leave a comment on this blog post telling me which product are you mostly excited about and how are you planning to use it.

The giveaway winner will be announced here on 12/11/2018.

Make sure to visit all the designers that participate in this blog hop cause they are all crazy talented and they share some amazing ideas using these products. Here is the full list:

Love the whimsical twist you used to accent the new markers! I am so excited about the release of more alcohol marker color choices! I was a hold out on alcohol markers because the prices were so prohibitive...until Altenew came out with their sets! And of course I want ALL OF THEM, I also really like the acetate embellishments and plan to use the months for my travelers notebook!

FUN & FABULOUS card! LOVE your blocks of colours and patterns! I'm super excited about the new markers, they look so VIBRANT, the one-colour sheets of enamel dots EXCITE me too, as I tend to use the same colours over and over, leaving me with part sheets dotted with the ones I rarely use :)
