I’m thrilled to be part of the celebration and share with you a project I created for the Live, Laugh Layout Challenge focusing on embellishments.
For my layout, I decided to mix some of my favorite scrapbooking products with some DIY stamped embellishments I created using the Simple Flowers stamp set by Altenew.
I created my own color palette inspired by the Altenew inks and then I pulled out my embellishment stash and I picked bits with matching colors.
I picked a variety of flower images to build a floral arrangement around my photo. I used foam adhesive to create dimension between my floral layers.
To make the design more fun and interesting I pulled different types of embellishments from a variety of materials like sequins, wood veneers, enamel dots, shaker stickers and more.
