Hello everyone and welcome to another Altenew blog hop celebrating the release of our brand new stencil designs!
Make sure to read all the way through for all the giveaway details and of course visit the Altenew Card Blog.
For this blog hop I created a bunch of cards using the new stencils paired with the recommended Altenew ink sprays. If you didn’t know, with every stencil release, Altenew offers bundles with their gorgeous ink sprays in colors that work great for each specific stencil design.
This first card is using the Broken Chevrons stencil with Orange Cream & Sunkissed Metallic Shimmer sprays. I used the Bold Alphabet Die set to cut out the word “hi” from the panel and finished the card with a black sentiment strip.
Next we have the Deco Wonder stencil with Antique Gold & Antique Silver Metallic Shimmer Sprays. This is one of my most favorite designs in this release. I created a panel with the ink sprays and then I stamped a couple of images from the A Study in Watercolor Stamp Set using the stunning Altenew pigment inks.
I finished the card with a few sentiment strips using the Label Love stamp set.
For my next card I used the Illusion Spiral Stencil with Warm Sunshine & Jet Black Ink Sprays. To complete the card I used A Study in Watercolor Stamp Set and Altenew pigment inks just like on the previous design.
This release also includes a couple of layering stencils. These are super fun to work with and you can use them for some really interesting and creative techniques.
I created this card using the Floral Garden Stencil along with the Puffy Heart & Forest Glades Ink Sprays. The sprayed panel is so beautiful on its own that I only added a sentiment from the Fancy Greetings stamp set and I called the card done.
My last card for this blog hop is using the Heart Builder Stencil with Coral Berry & Ruby Red Ink Sprays. You can clearly tell that my spraying wasn’t perfect by I actually loved that the edges looked a bit blurred out. It almost feels like it was on purpose. Of course you can create a super crisp impression if you do some ink blending instead but I really love the messy look of the sprays.
