Hello everyone and welcome to another Build-A-Flower release blog hop! Today I’m really excited to show you the brand new Build-A-Flower: Dahlia set by Altenew.
Make sure to read all the way through for all the giveaway details and of course visit the Altenew Card Blog.
For this blog hop I created a simple card that was inspired by a night image of a garden. I wanted to give the impression of a night sky around my flowers just like you were looking at a magical garden during night time.
I created an ombre ink-blended background in deep blue tones and lightly sprayed it with water to create a mist effect.
Then I simple created a floral cluster with the images I stamped from this set and added a sentiment beneath them.
If you love this set and you want to add it to your stamp collection you can check it out here. It’s also available with a coordinating ink bundle as well as a discounted price if you subscribe to the monthly Build-A-Flower release program.

Zinia, your night sky is gorgeous & perfectly blended & really allows the colours in the dahlias to stand out. I’d like to see another variety of dahlia, maybe the dinner plate one with the long narrow spiky petals. Is my description making sense? Thanks for a chance to win.
I’d like to see another peony stamp. One where the flower isn’t in full bloom but is only beginning to bloom. That’s how I remember my peonies when I used to have them in my yard.
