Hello everyone! Today we are celebrating another exciting release from Altenew! I created a couple simple one-layer cards with the beautiful new stamps and dies from this release!

I’m really into creating one-layer cards lately, focusing on the composition and color. So that’s what I did for my cards here. To color my cards I used a mix of Altenew Artist Markers from various sets.
For my first card, I used the Beautiful Peony stamp and mask stencil to create a floral pattern around the edges of my card. I left some of the petals white to achieve a more modern and unique style.
For my second card I used the Dotted Blooms set which is an absolutely stunning design. Since the outline of the flower has a bunch of little dots, I decided to use some dots for my coloring as well.
For both cards I used the Better Together stamp set which is my new top favorite sentiment stamp set!

Love the bold colors of your designs Zinia, these new florals are gorgeous, my top two are Beautiful Peony and Exotic Tulips I have been dying to stamp ANs florals on fabric to create a few pencil cases, and maybe a throw pillow. As always thank you for the inspiration!
I love your cards – especially the purple dotted blooms against that vibrant yellow background. I really want to get the Dotted Blooms and matching die set – I would love to use it to make a small paper floral wreath for my door or window. Also the peonies set – I would love to use that to make Mother’s Days cards or a layout. I have very fond memories of the peony shrubs on my parent’s farm, and considering my mother made sure to have some in her garden after moving, I suspect she loves them too.

I probably love this one because the beautiful peiones is my favorite set in the release! I plan to use it for cards and scrapbook layouts, probably in a junk journal as well! Wonderful cards Zinnia. I have to say the Beautiful Peonies is my favourite set. If peonies had a lovely scent they’d be my favourite flower ever. I don’t have any detail floral stamps as I’m not good at shading, but I’d like to have this to practice with, make a card for a very special friend & hopefully paint one well enough that I can put in a small frame with an uplifting sentiment to put on the wall beside where I craft. I’d especially love to do it with watercolours. Thanks.

Zina, your cards are beautiful! I love the way you colored the peony card. i love the Baroque set, Frilled Petals set, Lavendar, both sentiments. But my first and favorite is the sentiment set: Reason to Smile. I will be using this one, one heck of a lot. For my Grandson whom has Aspergers Syndrome, friends that need a pick-me-up, and for so many others. I mean ght even use it, no I will use it on one of my mixed media pieces.
I am having a new appreciation for orange which is not usually one of my go to colors. I really like the colors you choose for the dotted bloom set — you have inspire me to branch out and use colors I don’t often reach for — so thanks!

Beautiful cards. I love that you added dots to the Dotted Blooms. That card is very rich looking. I think my favorite from this release is the Baroque Motifs Stamp Set. I plan to use it as both the center piece of a card and as a pale background behind some of my lovely Altenew flowers. Thanks for your inspiration!
Love your cards. I think my favorite product from this release are the mask/stencil add ons. I love the Exotic Tulips set and look forward to getting the stamps/dies/mask-stencil to play with.

Your cards look great. I’m loving the coloring and the backgrounds. I also like the addition of the dots on the second card.
Beautiful cards! My favorites from this release are the dotted blossoms and baroque motifs. I plan to make a set of clean and simple cards to give as a gift using the dotted blossoms. As for the baroque motifs, I think a couple of them embossed in the corner of a card would make a beautiful backdrop for florals.
So gorgeous! My favourite stamp sets are the peonies and the little “thanks” stamp set (which is actually on its way to me already, lol!). I think its very versatile, despite being so small – I plan to make a lot of smaller thank you note cards with it, for when I just want to send people a little handmade note, but don’t want to spend a tonne of time making it 😉

The Dotted Blooms set – I’ve looked at 8 blogs on this hop so far. Every time a designer used this set, I wondered why it had this name. I even thought Cherry Blossoms would be a better name! So thank you for finally making me look closer at the flowers – now I see those little dots!

Your cards have such beautiful, bold color schemes! Love them both! And my fave from this release is the Tulips……I don’t have any tulip stamps, and the assorted blooms in this one are just perfect for laying! I will be making lots of these tulips in a lot of different colors to layer on cards, tags and scrap pages!

Beautiful cards and coloring skills! My favorite stamp from this release is the Dotted Blooms set. I think it would be perfect for wedding cards or Bridal showers. It’s such a delicate design.
The Baroque Motifs set is my favorite from this release. Not only is is beautiful but so versatile as well. I plan to use it for backgrounds, foregrounds, and everything in between lol, yes this will get a lot of use this year. Best of all it already comes with it’s own Masks 🙂
