Hello crafty friends! Altenew has once again some beautiful brand new products that will blow your mind. You probably already know but I’m madly in love with Altenew Artist Markers and I’ve been anxiously waiting for more colors to come out. They are finally here!
Make sure to read all the way through for all the giveaway details and of course visit the Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog.
However this release includes more than just a few new colors of Artist Markers. For those of you that are on a low budget and can’t invest in the whole color range, there’s a new Primary colors set that can get you started with Alcohol markers. In fact that’s the product I focused on for my project today. There’s also a colorless blender to assist you with fun coloring techniques.
But wait, there’s more. In addition to the new coloring products there are also some beautiful embellishments! Wood veneer pieces, lovely butterflies, and my personal favorite, Enamel Dots in the gorgeous Altenew color range!
For my card today, I wanted to create something fun and playful so I grabbed the Building Blocks die set and colored each piece with a different color from the Primary Essentials Artist Marker Set. To add more character to my colorful blocks, I added a whimsical doodly pattern on each of the pieces using a darker shade of color.

Love the whimsical twist you used to accent the new markers! I am so excited about the release of more alcohol marker color choices! I was a hold out on alcohol markers because the prices were so prohibitive…until Altenew came out with their sets! And of course I want ALL OF THEM, I also really like the acetate embellishments and plan to use the months for my travelers notebook!

Markers. I would definitely use both to enhance the cards that I make.
Super fun idea, this turned out really well! I am loving the new markers, and the enamel dots – one can never have too many embellishments to add as final touches, especially if they come in fab colours and sizes!
