Altenew Build-A-Flower: Hyacinth Release Blog Hop + Giveaway @ziniaredo @altenewllc #ziniaredo #altenew #cardmaking #cards #handmadecards #floralstamps

For my card, I went with a really bright and vibrant color palette. I stamped both images from the Build-A-Flower Hyacinth set with some of my favorite purple and green Altenew inks and then I created an ombre background with some ink blending.

For a finishing touch, I added a few ink splatters on my background using Altenew Ink Sprays and stamped a sentiment in black ink.

I would love to see a Donkey ear plant (Kalanchoe gastonis-bonnieri) in a future Build-A-Flower release. It’s name is not so appealing but the plant its self is a type of succulent with long green leaves that get black spots on them which is beautiful on it’s own. However the flowers it produces are stunning red and yellow bell shaped flowers that grow in a cluster and are magnificent to see (one of mine is blooming now :)), it also attracts hummingbirds which is a plus.
